can i shop on my own?

Independent contractors and other home professionals hired by our clients are an integral part of the design process. We maintain excellent partnerships within our local network and do our best to offer appropriate trade recommendations for the completion of your project with whom we have experienced a high quality of service. If a project requires contractors and/or consultants to perform work based on our design concepts, our clients shall enter into a contract directly with each contractor and/or consultant. Although we do our best to cooperate with and advise consultants for the purpose of conformity to the design plan, we are not responsible for their direct oversight and therefore cannot provide any warranty, guarantee, certification, or responsibility for the performance, quality, or timely completion of any work performed or materials installed by contractors, nor their agents or employees.

what if i want to add more rooms?

This depends on the scope of the design and items required for purchase. Occasionally there are delays caused by weather, vendor vacations, product backorders, factory errors, and/or other unpredictable influences. All design and home professionals are expected to maintain reasonable momentum throughout the completion of your project.
how long do projects normally last?

Having a clear budget is very important in order for the design process to run smoothly and for your expectations to be met. We will work together throughout our initial consultations to determine a reasonable expectation of cost for your space(s) and make every possible effort to work within your budget parameters, but ultimately it is up to you to keep yourself on budget after receiving design proposals and trade quotes.

Please bring these to our attention immediately throughout the editing process and we will discuss your concerns. Open and honest communication is our policy! If necessary, we will work to find a more desirable solution for you and your home. The decision about what is purchased and installed in your home is ultimately yours as it applies to major furnishings and design elements.
what if i have concerns about an item?

Our preference is to perform one large installation of your non-fixed decor following completion of all trade work, specialty installations, and delivery of all furnishings. Although furnishings and deliveries may arrive in several shipments prior to install day, it is our desire to arrange and, when necessary, assemble these shipments for you at one time upon installation. This makes for an exciting reveal of your new space!
